Must you be stuck in the 18th C. I was a frequent soloist with the Excellent Montreal Welsh male Choir. That choir ventured into the 20th century

  2. Mary Campbell, Alzheimer Society says:

I am looking for a choir member who would be interested in leading a small community group that would include people with early stage dementia, as well as other interested community members. We would meet during the daytime, perhaps once a week, or twice per month. The joy will be in the singing of well known songs. It is more of a singalong opportunity than the end result of preparing for a show.

    • SHARON SINGER says:

I’m interested in knowing more. I play both piano and accordion, and have had a bit of experience (though not recent) leading seniors and others in sing-a-longs, and way back, in high school accompanied the school choir. I’ve read about the benefits of group singing for Parkinsons and Alzheimers patients. Work experience includes adult education. I am currently retired.

Could you please send me your email address. I would like to send you information about Jazz Night at the Mill in Spencerville on June 6 at 6:30 pm. We are trying to contact all groups who love music and live voices. It’s a joint Friends of the Library/Spencerville Mill Foundation fundraiser.
